“Having chosen a narrative from one provided, students will design the game characters look, back story, personality and, where appropriate, skills or gameplay mechanics. Group/individual: students will create a working prototype game. Students will be expected to apply concepts and lessons from the rest of the semester into their design thinking as they plan and execute their final projects. The scope of the game should be short – an hour or so. the medium can be any, board game, card game, digital, advergame, educational/serious and so on.”
