Students create an engaging and eye-catching poster based on a quote from a designer. The poster must apply principles from other design courses such as; layout, color theory, typography, balance, rhythm, juxtaposition (design principles) etc. This is a competitive brief, the ‘winning’ posters to be installed in the classroom of Reed Hall 250.
Students choose a quote themselves and conceptualize and execute a design based on their own style. Students understand that these posters are to be used in a classroom and need to keep that in mind when designing for the space. Students must use their own photography, graphics etc. no one is to use artwork/images that are not their own/they have copyright/ ownership over.
